WHO WE ARE
Bentrol designs and builds switchboards for mines, hospitals, sports stadiums and everything between. We also design, install, commission and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) and Access Control Systems.
Bentrol started out in 2011 offering mechanical-electrical, Building Management System and Access Control services. It wasn't long after that Chris realised that custom switchboards would also be a necessary part of the business.
The original team was made up of the previous Bendigo Health Building Management Systems department. This means that the team is familiar with not only mechanical-electrical, BMS and access control systems but also government policies and procedures. This understanding allows Bentrol to hit the ground running even in the largest of environments and identify potential issues and risks before they arise. After over a decade of steady expansion, Bentrol recently relocated to a new purpose built factory at 9-11 Deborah Street, Golden Square in 2022.
2011
EVER SINCE
Bentrol was established in 2011. The initial team was predominantly comprised of members from the previous Bendigo Health Building Management Systems Department. This means that although Bentrol is relatively new, the team offers decades worth of experience and have been together since well before 2011.

LONGEST PROJECT
The Bendigo Hospital had two stages which spanned from 2013 to 2018 (not including the early works which started in December of 2011 and was one of Bentrol's earliest contracts). The first stage involved installing the BMS and access control systems in the new hospital. The second stage built upon the first and included decomissioning of the old systems.
